Victor Wembanyama is the hottest basketball prospect in decades, and his performance on the NBA court so far has exceeded everyone's expectations!
The sports card market is in a very strange transition phase right now where Panini holds the exclusive license for the NBA, but Topps has an exclusive autograph deal with Victor Wembanyama.
What does this mean for you? This means that you you'll need to decide whether you want to focus on Wemby autos OR on officially licensed NBA cards featuring Wemby in his San Antonio Spurs jersey. I know, we all want autographs on licensed NBA cards, but unfortunately that is not an option. This doesn't mean that you can't still find awesome rare cards, parallels, inserts, 1 of 1s, and more!

2022-23 Topps Bowman University Inception Multi-Sport Hobby Box

Inception is the very first set to include Victor Wembanyama cards. This is a multi-sport sport product which includes both Basketball and Football players in their college uniforms. Look for Victor's Autograph (in the form of a redemption card). Victor has no base cards or other parallels in this set. Set also features: Caitlin Clark, Bryce Young, CJ Stroud and Anthony Richardson. |
2022-23 Topps Bowman University Chrome Basketball

While Inception was the first product released to feature Wemby; Bowman U Chome features the first cards that he physically signed. His autos come in the form of a redemption card in this product as well. Also look for non-autographed Bowman 1st base cards! SOLD OUT |
2023 Topps Allen & Ginter Hobby Box

But this is a Baseball product! Kind of... If you're not familiar with Allen & Ginter, it's primarily a Baseball product, but it also features players from other sports, celebrities, and other weird cards like animals, food, locations, and random objects. In this product you can find Wemby base cards, parallels, and autographs! This is likely the last 2023 Topps product that will feature Victor, which means it is also likely the last chance to find an autographed "rookie" card. SOLD OUT |

This is the first product by Panini which includes Victor Wembanyama. This a "draft" product, so while this is still considered a "rookie" card, he is not yet shown in his NBA uniform.
